Desprès d'escoltar-me aquest EP/split dels Annuals-Sunfold per 5ena vegada en dos dies haig de dir:

1- Wet Zoo estarà en la meva llista dels millors EP del 2008.
2- No entenc per què mai havia donat una oportunitat a Annuals (realment nomès coneixia brother... i crec que no tinc la versió original sinò la que van fer Manchester Orchestra...)
3- Gràcies a "Dallasdoesindie" per posar-los en el podcast "THREE YEAR EPISODE" ("Sore": millor cançó durant l'últim any del programa!)
3- "Around your neck" i "Sore" (Annuals) en directe han de posar la pell de gallina....
4- Ara que Annuals tenen nou disc sota el braç ("Such fun") espero que els bons del PS decideixin portar-los el pròxim any.

* Dear reader, it's been a while. And we know it. Indeed, it's been a looong while, and those updates kind of try to make it up to you. The busy days are (almost) over and done for the season, busy days of school, concerts and Primavera Sound, which was mind-blowing as well as so much fun. Expect a review of it soon. And we remind you that your Estrella Damm Primavera Sound 2008 full festival ticket grants access to both the presentation showcases and the closing party, to be celebrated at Apolo, La [2] and, for the first time, also at Sidecar. Moreover, those people not owning the festival ticket will be able to enjoy the free performances taking place inside the Barcelonian Metro and those scheduled at Primavera in the Park.

EGWM's favourite bands @ PS '08: Animal Collective

According to most critics and reviews, they're a must see at the upcoming Primavera Sound festival, which will take place at "El parc del Fòrum" from May 29th to May 31st. With only three shows in Spain (the other ones being in Málaga and Valladolid... how's that??), you certainly should at least give them a try. Their music is a bit hard to get into (long, bizarre songs full of exotic and surprising sounds which take you to some sort of parallel universe) but once you do, they really become more addictive than strawberry jam. With Animal Collective we start a series of posts here at EGWM which will try to introduce you, readers (and us, writers), to the bands that we think you shouldn't miss on this year's magnificient PS. Either because we love them or because we think / have read they're worth seeing. Who cares about that? Anyway, go check these musical animals! (oh, and comment if you like what you read / hear, please, we appreciate it ; )
