According to most critics and reviews, they're a must see at the upcoming Primavera Sound festival, which will take place at "El parc del Fòrum" from May 29th to May 31st. With only three shows in Spain (the other ones being in Málaga and Valladolid... how's that??), you certainly should at least give them a try. Their music is a bit hard to get into (long, bizarre songs full of exotic and surprising sounds which take you to some sort of parallel universe) but once you do, they really become more addictive than strawberry jam. With Animal Collective we start a series of posts here at EGWM which will try to introduce you, readers (and us, writers), to the bands that we think you shouldn't miss on this year's magnificient PS. Either because we love them or because we think / have read they're worth seeing. Who cares about that? Anyway, go check these musical animals!
